SteriPen Pre-Filter:
The SteriPen Pre-Filter is designed to filter out particulates and sediment from your water before you apply the UV purifier. The Pre-Filter has a 4×4-micron filter screen that sifts sediment and small particulate matter out of the water. The screen is held within a cartridge with an air vent at the top and allows for either pour through or immersion methods to filter the water. Once the water is cleared, the water purification process employed by the SteriPen UV water purifier will be more effective.
