Going into great detail as always, John & Geri McPherson here take the viewer thru every step, explaining all the way, on how to make fire by rubbing two sticks together. You are first guided thru every stage of making fire by using the bow drill, and then the hand drill method Following a quick run thru on making a hand drill fire in the field using stone for the knive, John then demonstrates the bamboo fire saw. The second part of this video goes on to show you, the viewer, how to gather various fibers from nature, prepare them and then twist them, both by the finger twist and the speedier leg roll method, into cordage.
